Entry #3
So fresh and so Clean
Hello and welcome back to Project stars, My name is Dorian Herrera and I want to take a journey with you. Picture this, you have just awoken from a deep sleep, only to find out that you overslept. You are gonna be late to school, so you quickly rummage around your room and start throwing cloths on your body and dart to campus. After that, you somehow manage to make it on time; but realize that your breath reeks. Since you were so focused on making it on time you forgot to brush your teeth, and now are suffering the consequences of morning breath. Luckily for you, in your bag is an ace up your sleeve. Inside your bag is a small, blue and white metal tin wrapped tightly in plastic. Quickly, you tear through the thin plastic layer and pop the lid open. As the metal cap swings back, your nostrils are forced open by the menthol aroma; and breathing so clearly that you feel like your nose has been replaced. Next you push back the paper and reach for a small pale puck, no bigger than a pinky nail; and place it on your tongue. For the next few minutes, all the nerves in your mouth are cooled down and you can feel the puck slowly lose its mass as it disappears. However in your mind this is not the time for a treat, this is a hygiene emergency.
The tin is flipped open once again, this time you steal 2 pieces instead. Once the pucks are in your grasp again, they are thrown in your mouth. Desperately, trying to make your breath as fresh as possible in a shorter time, you slam your jaw shut, making sure to crush the pads together. Through your head you hear the chalk shatter and spill from between your teeth. As this happens, a rush of ice and snow barges through, like a blizzard. Every breath you take is colder than the last. Now it's time to smell the results. Raising your cupped hands above your chin you take a deep breath and slowly blow into your hand. Once finished, you take a whiff. Similar to the metal tins unboxing, your nostrils force open again, and you may have had too many. On the other hand, It smells fresher than this morning.
To celebrate this small victory, you twist open your bottle and take a refreshing sip of ice water.
Nice job describing a mint without using the word "mint"!
